Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM Research.
Phase I: completion of mandatory core modules including 5 classes with issuance of certificates (Intro to Cloud Computing; Red Hat Enterprise Linux Fundamentals; Python for Data Science, AI & Development; DevOps Bootcamp; Red Hat OpenShift I: Containers & Kubernetes).
Phase II: completion of 6-month project with subject matter expert.
Phase III: completion of showcase of achievements to VP, lab leaders and Sr management.
The Skill Growth Initiative team will work with the participants, subject matter experts, HR, and management to re-assign 50+% of PYE to a challenge aligned with a business goal in the 3+3 format of the Research Organization.
