American Academy of Actuaries

The American Academy of Actuaries is the national association representing actuaries from all practice areas. It assists policymakers by providing objective expertise and actuarial advice on risk and financial security issues. It sets qualification, practice, and professionalism standards for actuaries credentialed by one or more of the five U.S.-based actuarial organizations. More than 19,500 have joined the Academy to become the voice of U.S. actuaries. Membership represents credibility, a commitment to professionalism, and support of its mission to serve the profession and the public.
