Karlen Communications has been providing education and consulting in the field of digital accessibility for over 23 years. It publishes document accessibility books, including Accessible PDFs, first edition 2005, 4th edition 2017; Accessible Microsoft Office content (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel). Canadian delegate to the ISO 32000/PDF and ISO 14289/PDF-UA committees, Accessible Canada Act’s Technical Standards Development committees for Plain Language and ICT. Its founder, Karen Mccall, is a Microsoft MVP for Office Apps and Services (since 2009) and Microsoft Accessibility MVP.
