National Herd Improvement Association of Australia (NHIA)

Established in 1995 as the successor to the Herd Improvement Organisation Victoria, The National Herd Improvement Association of Australia Incorporated (NHIA) is a prominent industry association committed to the advancement of Herd Improvement (HI). NHIA places a particular emphasis on enhancing genetic quality and service provider capabilities. NHIA has a lead role in championing and raising awareness regarding the pivotal role of its sector within the Australian dairy and beef industries. Additionally, NHIA advocates on trade matters pertaining to germplasm for ruminant species.
