San Mateo County Office of Education

The San Mateo County Office of Education supports local schools by providing services that can be done more efficiently and economically at the county level, such as implementing new standards, staff development, training programs, and instructional procedures; designing business and personnel systems; and more. SMCOE also provides a wide range of instructional programs, including career and technical education, programs for at-risk youth, and instruction in juvenile detention facilities.
